Russian consumers' right protection Rospotrebnadzor does not exclude that the list of Ukrainian enterprises banned from importing cheese in Russia will be enlarged.
"Most probably the list of banned suppliers will be enlarges," chief state sanitary service doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko said in a statement Friday.
He also said that Ukrainian side is not in a hurry to solve the cheese problem and added that Rospotrebnadzor was not satisfied with the documents, provided by Ukrainian cheese producers.
According to Onishchenko, the pack of documents was big, but still did not meet the norms of national and international norms. "We postponed the consideration of these documents waiting for official documents from the relevant bodies of Ukraine in accordance with established order," the watchdog's chief declared.
"At the same time we see increased verbal activity and adoption of some laws of bellicose character. We hear statements of leaders of certain political forces of Ukraine and we believe they are aimed at destabilization of slowly improving relations," Onishchenko summed up.
