Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated servicemen, employees of the Armed Forces and war veterans on the Defender of the Fatherland Day, the presidential press service has reported.
"I sincerely congratulate all those who stand guard over the sovereignty of our country, strengthening its defense capability and national security. I am convinced that in future, despite everyday difficulties, you will properly perform your sacred duty and improve your professional skills," the president said in his congratulatory address.
He also thanked war veterans for their courage, victory and dedicated work for the sake of peace and the future.
Yanukovych wished servicemen, veterans, as well as their families and friends, good health and happy and long life.
