PR worries Ukrainian GTS will remain without Russian gas

There is a risk that Ukrainian gas transportation system will remain without Russian gas, leader of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

Speaking about Ukrainian transit capacity and the launch of South and Nord Streams Yefremov noted that Streams fully compensate the transit capacity of Ukraine. "We will be left without material base, but will have to maintain GTS, that's why it is very important to hold negotiations ably and to define the future of GTS," the MP said.

Yefremov also noted that the parliament would not consider tomorrow the draft bill of reformation of Naftogaz.

As a reminder, in November, 2011 the Cabinet asked for parliament's persimmon to reform national company "Naftogaz Ukrainy."
