Speaker of Ukraine's parlaiment Volodymyr Lytyvn believes that Ukrainian cheese producers should hold an international quality expertise of their production.
"I believe that if Ukrainian producers are 100% sure that the cheeses meet all international and European standards, they should present their production for international expertise," Lytyvn said commenting on the so-called "cheese war" between Ukraine and Russian.
"My position is simple - we should stop whining, but announce the share of palm oil, if any, being added in the product by producers, and how poisonous it is for citizens," the speaker declared.
According to Lytyvn, Ukrainian producers "should have taken the lead and got an international certificate, which proves that our cheese is beyond doubt."
