Ministry of social policy jointly with UNISEF is working on changes of the strategy on children's rights protection, vice PM and minister for social policy Serhiy Tihipko told a briefing, ForUm's correspondent reports.

According to the official, first of all it is needed to develop a system of early detection and reaction on violation of children's rights.

"We need to work with a family to keep a child in it," Tihipko underlined.

The minister also noted that the state must spend additional means to hire inspectors and social workers to work with every family.

"They could make a list of problems families and could help them...it would be cheaper for the country regarding financial plain," Tihipko added.

The official also informed that within this strategy it is needed to work out and implement the standards of rendering social services to families with children.
