80% of residential properties need winterization, prime minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at the meeting of the Cabinet, ForUm's correspondent reports.
"We have a long-term program on replacement of the heat distribution network and water pipes, modernization of boiler houses and winterization of houses. The whole country needs to be repaired and modernized. And this is an employment for thousand of people. Do we have domestic systems? What is their share at the market? This is a real production line, as 80% of residential properties need winterization," the premier said.
In addition, Azarov informed that last year the import of cement, concrete and building mortar grew by 30%.
