The Verkhovna Rada has ratified the agreement between Ukraine's Cabinet and Russian government on border crossing by residents of the frontier regions with 320 votes in favor, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the agreement, the status of residents of the boundary area has been changed from boundary districts to boundary regions. The agreement also provides for simplified procedure of import-export of goods of personal use for residents of the boundary regions.
