Speaking at today’s meeting of the Council of Regions, President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed Vice-Prime Minister, Minister for Healthcare Raisa Bohatyryova to investigate the alleged unpreparedness of the recently opened Kirovohrad Regional Perinatal Center to receive patients, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"I would like you to find out exactly what happened," he said, adding that he would like to have objective and complete information on the real state of the medical facility.
"Is this perinatal center a fraud? If it is– it will be answered for. If it is not – bring responsible specialists, journalists to the place, meet and talk with people. We must know the truth," Viktor Yanukovych said, addressing the Kirovohrad region government.
