The state must take care of homeless, prime minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at today's meeting of the Council of regions, ForUm's correspondent reports.
The PM underlined that the majority of frost's victims were homeless, and consequently the government must provide protection for this category of the population in case of abnormal situations.
"Mayors and governors must know where homeless people are, and keep records of them. In case of emergency the homeless must by in safe places to prevent situations we observed during the cold snap," Azarov said.
