The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed in its first reading the draft bill "On sea ports of Ukraine", which simplifies the work of investors in sea ports, ForUm's correspondent reports. 232 MPs voted in favor.
According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers will regulate the activities in sea ports to provide safe operation of port infrastructure.
The draft bill also provides for complex development and improvement of competitiveness of sea ports, equal access to sea port services.
