Ukrainian boxer Vitali Klitschko defeated his opponent Dereck Chisora in Munich's Olympic hall to retain his WBC heavyweight title on February 18, RFE/RL reports.

The match went all 12 rounds and judges unanimously declared Klitschko the winner on points.

After the fight Klitschko credited Chisora for a "solid performance" in the ring but he added "as a person, I have no respect for him."

Chisora slapped Klitschko in the face at the weigh-in on February 17, and then spat water into Klitschko's face during pre-fight ceremonies.

After the results were announced Chisora quickly demanded a rematch or said he would fight Klitschko's younger brother Vladimir who holds the WBO, IBF, WBA and IBO titles.
