UN allocated $100 thousand for freezing Ukrainians

United Nations Organization has allocated 100 thousand dollars as a financial assistance to Ukrainains, suffering from severe frosts, especially homeless persons.

According to the press office of the UN representative office in Ukraine, the financial assistance has been allocated on request by the Ministry of social policy and Red Cross society in Ukraine.

UN notes that Ukraine suffered the most from low temperatures. Many deaths occurred among the low-income population and in unheated apartments.
