Ukraine is getting ready for presidency in Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Foreign Minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko said during a lecture "Foreign policy of Ukraine for of 2011-2012: achievements and priorities," ForUm correspondent reports.

"For us it is not just an international platform, but a concrete instrument to create undivided security space. For Ukraine, as non-aligned country, OSCE institution is very important," the Minister said.
According to Hryshchenko, Ukraine's presidency in OSCE will be unprecedented regarding the scale of diplomatic missions. "Imagine that every state-OSCE member has a right of veto on any decision," he said and added that "if you want to see the list of the most urgent risks of Europe, go to see the agenda of OSCE."

With 56 States from Europe, Central Asia and North America, the OSCE is the world's largest regional security organization. It offers a forum for political negotiations and decision-making in the fields of early warning, conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation, and puts the political will of its participating States into practice through its unique network of field missions.

Ukraine will preside in OSCE in 2013.
