President appointed new Defense Minister

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree dismissing Mykhailo Yezhel from the post of Ukraine's Defense Minister. The decree was posted on the official website on February 8.

With another decrees, the President dismissed Dmytro Salamatin as director general of the Ukroboronprom State Concern and appointed him as Ukraine's Defense Minister.

Today, February 9 President Viktor Yanukovych presented the new Defense Minister to the Armed Forces militaries and thanked the former Minsiter Yezhel for his work.
