Health Ministry of Ukraine has worked out concept of medical assistance during preparation and holding of Euro-2012, taking into account UEFA requirements, head of the relevant department of the Health Ministry Svitlana Sinelnik told ForUm.

According to her, the host cities have defined 12 principal hospitals, which would render medical assistance to fans during matches and other events of the Euro-2012 championship. 

Sinelnik also informed that the Ministry jointly with medical services of airports, railway stations and territorial health institutions has worked out medical assistance procedures for guests of Euro-2012.  
"UEFA experts have welcomed the preparation of medical institutions of host-cities," the official informed and added that necessary number of medical workers and ambulances will be on duty near stadiums and fan-zones to render immediate assistance if needed.

According to her information, the authorities have also set a list of medical institutions, which would follow and observe the roads of public use to render assistance 24 hours.
