The State Customs Service of Ukraine has started installation of information terminals, which would register the time of application of electronic customs declaration, head of the service Ihor Kaletnik told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The terminals will register the time of application of electronic customs declaration. An applicant will receive a confirmation ticket, and the documents will be automatically transferred to the monitoring center of a customs house. Such procedure will exclude groundless refusal by an inspector to accept declarations fro customs documentation," Kaletnik explained.
According to the official, the Customs Service has realized a complex of measures to create favourable condition for entities engaged in foreign economic activities. "In particular, the mater concerns the simplification of customs procedures, thanks to which the average time spent for control procedures for import has reduced by six times and takes no longer that 1 hour 33 minutes, while for export - 51 minutes," Kaletnik informed.
