A total of 134 towns and villages in Ukraine's southern regions have been left without electricity over the last 24 hours as a result of adverse weather conditions, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Ministry has reported, according to UKRINFORM.

"On February 7-8, 134 towns and villages were left without electricity due to adverse weather conditions (heavy snow and wind gusts) and due to the activation of power line protection systems," the ministry said.

In particular, 108 towns and villages were blacked out in Crimea, 15 in Odesa region and 11 in Kherson region.
