According to the premier, delivery waste of heating energy makes 80%, which is included into its final price. "Such situation is unacceptable. We urgently need to reduce the waste. But it cannot be done in two-three years within the whole country. This is a task for the government for many years," he noted.
Azarov also added that the country needs to develop alternative sources of energy. "For this we have introduced a "green" tariff for producers of such energy. But the development of alternative sources of energy is also a task for many years and for now such energy is way more expensive than the traditional one. The cheapest kinds of energy for now are nuclear, water and thermal powers. Within the next years the energy balance of the country will be supported by these traditional sources," Azarov summed up.
