Renewal of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund is economically more profitable for Ukraine against a credit from Sberbank of Russia, Presidential Advisor and Head of the Main International Relations Department of the Presidential Administration Andriy Honcharuk has said.

"Money (from the IMF) is allocated under certain conditions, but this money is allocated systemically, under systemic reforms and at a lower interest rate. There is different between the commercial bank and the IMF," Honcharuk emphasized, UKRINFORM reported.

"As concerns budget support, currently an issue is on the agenda about renewal of cooperation with the IMF. We concentrate on resumption of the program," he said.

As  reported, the Finance Ministry has chosen organizers of the issue and placement of government bonds in 2012. Alongside with investment banks JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and VTB Capital PLC, which stand as lead managers of foreign placements of the Finance Ministry since 2010, this year Sberbank of Russia is attracted to the syndicate membership.
