MP of Ukraine, member of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Olena Bondarenko believes that if the Party of Regions loses parliamentary elections the country will collapse, ForUm learned from the press office of the party.

"The task-maximum for the forthcoming elections is to get self-sufficient parliamentary majority of 226 votes, and the task-minimum us to form such majority jointly with our political partners," Bondarenko said.

The politician also declared that if the party is not be able to form the majority and if a new team does not follow the policy started by the previous one the country will face a total collapse.

"There is a good idiom: there is no democrat or republican way to pick up the garbage. There is no "Party of Regions", "BYuT" or "Yatsenyuk" way to fill in the Pension Fund. And if, God forbids, a new team dos not want to continue what we have started the country will literally lose independence and will face economic catastrophe," the MP summed up.

As a reminder, parliamentary elections are scheduled for October 2012.
