Antimonopoly committee of Ukraine has started investigation into overpricing hotel and transport services in connection with holding Euro-2012 in the country, acting head of the committee Rafael Kuzmin told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We are holding investigation, in particular on Kyiv market," Kuzmin said but did not reveal any details referring to secrecy of investigation.
Earlier UEFA Euro-2012 tournament director in Ukraine Markian Lubkivski said hotel owners and transportation companies groundlessly increase prices for their services. Lubkivski warned that such enterprises would go out of business, as people won't use their services.
