Ministry of regional development and housing and communal services of Ukraine will reduce twofold the number of office vehicles, Minister Anatoly Blyznyuk told a briefing, Forum correspondent reports.

"This is a right step. Now every manager has its own vehicle. Before the Ministry had 16 cars, now only 8 have left," the Minister said.

Blyznyuk also reminded that during Soviet times a car was a luxury for officials, and at times they had to use public transport or hitch-hike.
