The authorities are prepared to overcome any emergencies caused by the cold weather that has been persisting recently, President Viktor Yanukovych told reporters in Kirovohrad, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"God forbid that people end up in difficult situations, but if it happens, of course, the authorities will help. The Government will approach this issue systematically and seriously," he said, adding that he follows the situation closely.
