Security Service of Ukraine has checked Odesa restaurant, in which Pierre Sarkozy, son of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, could have got poisoned, "KP in Ukraine" reports.

Results have not been officially announced, but "not for press" officials say Sarkosy suffered food poisoning. Having played a set at a party Pierre ate fruit and vegetables salad, dressed with a sauce and olive oil, and meat roll. A source assures Sarkozy drank only mineral water and no alcohol.



At the same time a source in the regional hospital informed that Sarkozy had "ordinary alcohol poisoning."

The restaurant was closed for several days due to examination by the sanitary service, but then opened for visitors. Results of the examination by the sanitary service have not been published.
The eldest son of French President Nicolas Sarkozy was hospitalised with apparent food poisoning in the Ukrainian city of Odessaon January 25.

According to local media, Sarkozy had been scheduled to perform in a nightclub in the southern resort city on Tuesday, but was hospitalised with a sudden illness under tight security.
