Russian TV channel NTV showed on Sunday an episode of the documentary "Iron Yulia" about life of Yulia Tymoshenko, in which covered the theme of Jewish roots of the former Premier, "Versii.com" reports.

Tymoshenko's origin is not a secret, and this subject was covered by journalists not once. However, NTV channel is know for that Kremlin uses it for settling scores with political opponents. Some time ago it showed a documentary "Godfather", in which Belarusian president Lukashenko was shown as a dictator praising Hitler and fully dependent on Russia. Now it's turn of Yulia Tymoshenko, which, according to observers' opinion, means that the Russian authorities have decided to write off Tymoshenko as a political partner.

"Attentive mother of Ukrainians is in fact a daughter of many nations," says journalist, who visited the place of origin of Tymoshenko in Western Ukraine village Snyatino. The movie reveals the fact that grandfather of Tymoshenko, Abram Kapitelman, worked as a director of the third Jewish school till the WWII.

Yulia Tymoshenko repeatedly insisted that all her family descends from native Ukrainians. "Our roots go back to Cossacks," Tymoshenko was assuring. Tymoshenko's aunt Antonina Uliakhina also states this in the documentary "Iron Yulia."

Tymoshenko's grandfather Kapitelman first appeared for public in the book of Ukrainian political mystery writer Dmytro Chobit "Cattle cake or Finishing touches to the political portrait of BYuT."

"How can it be that father of Yulia Tymoshenko, Grigyan Vladimir Abramovich is an Armenian Jew, mother Ludmila Telegina is Russia, but Tymoshenko by documents is Ukrainian? I did not have an answer to this question, but the question itself made me take a thought," Chobit writes.

NTV channel is now preparing another episode of the documentary, which will be dedicated to Tymoshenko's frauds on the post of the president of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine.
