For complete European integration Ukraine should build Europe within itself, Danish ambassador to Ukraine Michael Borg-Hansen said in response to ForUm's question on Ukraine's integration into Europe.
According to the ambassador, the matter concerns first of all the introduction of European values and settlement of certain problematic issues, the EU is insisting on.
"The matter concerns not only certain political figures, but a number of systemic economic problems as well," Borg-Hansen said.
According to him, for the moment Ukraine and the EU have taken a break in their relations for preparation to further dialogue.
"Denmark is now presiding in the EU, and we would be glad to continue traditions of Polish presidency regarding support of Ukrainian interests on its path to European integration. However, I want to point out that Kyiv slightly exaggerates when uses the fact of its geopolitical position in talks with Brussels," the ambassador summed up.
