For the moment Ukraine is 90% ready for Euro-2012 Football Championship, director of UEFA Euro-2012 in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivski told ForUm in an interview.

In response to the question what has not been finished regarding the preparation, he said: "Stadiums are almost ready, there is only the issue on arena functioning and managing to solve. UEFA has strengthened its operation groups, offering its expert services on security and general managing."

According to him, it is also needed to simplify the border crossing procedure for fans. "Today we are considering every possible scenario on provision of smooth border crossing, so the people can get on time to a match and then readily leave for another stadium or for Poland, or to come back home," Lubkivski explained.

According to Lubkivski, it is also important that foreign people, not speaking Ukrainian, can get all necessary information in English. "I think that the host-cities will manage to give maximum information," he underlined.
