By the order of Emergency Situations Minister Viktor Baloha, the Ministry increased the number of rescuers cutting the number of administrative positions, ForUm learned from the press office of the department.
The order says to increase the staff of rescue groups and departments, directly involved into emergency situations' liquidation, by 800 positions. The reformation also provides for liquidation of 300 separate secondary institutions in regions and creation of 27 assistance centers - one in each region. The number of administrative positions, like personnel officers, financial experts, backup officials and similar, will be reduced by 20%.
The main goal of the reformation is to improve the department, to eliminate duplication of functions, to reduce the number of managing institutions, as well as to increase the number of rescuers without increase of total number of Ministry's staff in regions.
