First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin notes that there are suspiciously too many dead bodies around "Gongadze case", he said in an interview with "Independent news bureau."

"Everybody died from natural causes, but under strange circumstances. Someone got mortally poisoned; someone died from a fatal disease, even the man who found Gongadze's body in Tarashcha forest also died. Only Pukach is still alive. But now the court decreed that the case was instituted illegally. That's it! Hopefully nobody else will die," Kuzmin said.

As a reminder, journalist Georgiy Gongadze was murdered in autumn 2000.

On March 15, 2008 the Court of Appeals convicted three former officials of Interior Ministry intelligence department - Valery Kostenko, Mykola Protasov and Oleksandr Popovych, and sentenced then to 12-13 years of prison.

Another accused, Pukach, was wanted from 2005. On July 21, 2009 Pukach was detained in Zhytomyr region.
