Ukrainians must help communal services to remove snow, head of the rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry Hryhoriy Marchenko declared.
"For tree days we have a monthly norm of snow, and it is impossible to remove it all within three days," Marchenko said and added that 560 machinery units and 100 manual items for snow removal are working in Kyiv alone.
"Emergency Situations Ministry has 120 machinery units, but snow removal is not our main task. We have all our departments helping communal services. Every one of us must do something to help remove all this snow," Marchenko addressed Ukrainians.
