
At the same time, Pedchenko assured that Ukraine will continue to comply with its international commitments and "develop constructive partnership with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on all matters of mutual interest".
"Military cooperation with NATO will continue in the context of implementation of the three priority areas: improving the operational capabilities and interoperability, reforming and further professionalization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in crisis management operations under the auspices of the Alliance and the NATO Response Force," the statement reads .
The Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is participating in the meeting of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels.
On Wednesday, the official Ukrainian delegation will take part in meetings in the format of the ISAF non-NATO Contributing Nations and NATO's Military Committee Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council format.
