Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has accepted the resignation of Ukrainian Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko, ForUm learned from the press office of the President. During today's meeting with the head of state, the Finance Minister asked Yanukovych to dismiss him from the post at his own request.
"Having consulted with the Prime Minister I asked the President to accept my resignation and he did," Yaroshenko said after the meeting and added he remains among supporters of the reformation course initiated by the President.
Yaroshenko also informed that after his "recovery" he would ask the President to assign him to the job as the latter sees fit.
