Today's evening session of the parliament will not take place. BYuT faction intends to continue blocking the parliamentary rostrum, BYuT faction leader Andriy Kozhemiakin told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Party of Regions is collecting its voting cards, hence they've decided not to compromise - not to form a commission and not to work. Our faction will continue blocking the rostrum till 6:15 pm. Then we will hold a meeting what to do tomorrow," Kozhemiakin said.

In response to the statement by BYuT faction leader, the chairman of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said: "For the first time in five years we have observed very incorrect action. On Kozhemiakin's request we were gathered in speaker's office for a meeting at 3:45 pm, but at 3:50 Kozhemiakin left for blocking the rostrum. It's not right with regards to colleagues. He said one thing, but did quite the opposite. Second thing - if they've decided to keep blocking the rostrum we have no urgent matters to consider. The parliament has fulfilled the program of this session. Now we are just finishing some draft bills. So, let them block the rostrum as long as they want. We are not going to initiate any incidents."

According to Yefremov, the Party of Regions is not going to re-block the rostrum, but intends to work in committees. "We are not going to guard them. They can have the whole night. Tomorrow we will work n accordance with agenda," the MP added.
