Vice Prime Minister and Minister for social policy Serhiy Tihipko declares that campaign on population census in Ukraine has been postponed till 2013.
"In 2012 we start a preparation campaign, but the population census itself will be held in 2013," he told a press conference.
According to him, the population census was supposed to be held three years ago, but starts as late as in 2012 and will be held in a separate region only.
The exact date of holding the second All-Ukrainian population census has not been determined yet.
As reported, Luhanks region has started All-Ukrainian campaign on population census, according to the press office of Luhansk regional administration.
The campaign will determine social and economic state of the population, including exact number of citizens, their age, sex, nationality and language, education, occupation and living condition, as well economic activity of population, especially economic activity.
