President Viktor Yanukovych believes that as soon as it is approved, the 2012 National Plan of Implementing the Program of Economic Reforms for 2010-2014 should be the primary roadmap for the authorities, he said in his closing remarks at today’s meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, presidential press office informed.
The President expressed the belief that the Committee on Economic Reforms should raise its effectiveness. "It is our duty. We should start seeing the results of reforms as soon as possible. They all aim to achieve positive results and it is crucial that the public felt them. Therefore, it is important that we started this positive movement already in the first months of 2012," Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
He said that he expects the Committee members to present relevant proposals. "Rather than populist, they should lay down decisive steps to raise the responsibility for the implementation of the National Plan of Reforms at all levels," President Yanukovych said. According to him, each public official is personally responsible for the work to implement reforms
