Ukraine has completed year 2011 with generally positive trends in the national economy, President Viktor Yanukovych said at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms.
"Although, we understand that it was not the growth the citizens of our country hoped for," Viktor Yanukovych added.
The President stressed he is dissatisfied with the pace of reforms in 2011. In his view, among the obstacles to their speedy and successful implementation were certain failures at the executors’ level.
"No one in this room would say he is satisfied with the results. Results always come from a collective work ... If we analyze all the processes that were taking place in the country in 2011, we will see that there were failures at some levels that hampered the implementation of reforms," he said.
