Definition of licensing criteria will make the procedure of obtaining licenses by entrepreneurs more transparent and will simplify the process of opening new business, vice PM and Economy Minister Andriy Klyuyev told journalists, commenting on the introduction of a corresponding governmental draft bill, ForUm learned from the press office of the politician.
According to the Minister, it is planned to simplify and unify the principles and procedures of obtaining licenses and their copies.
The document also provides for decentralization of licensing bodies, which will reduce the time needed for obtaining licenses, Klyuyev informed. Licenses for certain activities will be issued not only by the central executive bodies, but by their regional representative offices as well.
The draft bill also provides for cancellation of fees for issuing license copies - licensing bodies will issue them free of charge.
The draft bill defines 40 types of business activities, subjected to licensing in accordance with the norms of the basic law on licensing, and 16 types of activities - in accordance with special laws, the vice PM informed.
