Former PM and leader of the opposition party "Batkivshchyna" Yulia Tymoshenko, who has been moved to Kharkiv penal colony, can move independently, penal colony chief Ivan Pervushkin told journalists.

"She stays in bed, she stands up, she walks to the bathroom," Pervushkin said and underlined that doctors' recommendations on Tymoshenko's treatment are being followed in full.

At the same time, Tymoshenko's lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko declares that his defendant cannot move independently and constantly stays in bed.
