Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov believes that the year 2012 will be more successful than the previous one, ForUm learned from the press office of the Cabinet.

"2012 will be the key year of development. We will have actual base for development," Azarov said congratulating the staff with New Year and Christmas holidays.

According to Azarov, it is still early to speak about significant improvement of people's lives, because the government has to combat deep crisis. But already now we can state that the country has stepped on the path of stable development, and it is an important result of Cabinet's work, the Premier added.

Azarov underlined that social benefits grows due to the government's guarantees and provision of economy growth. At the same time, according to the PM, social benefits could grow faster if the government did not have to pay off huge state debts. "In addition, the State Treasury has to allocate considerable means to fulfill legal actions on paying large pensions and compensations," Azarov summed up.
