Interior Ministry of Ukraine has opened accounts on social network Facebook and microblogs service Twitter in the Ukrainian, Russian and English languages, and plans to inform about the department's activity in real time.
According to the press office of the Ministry, the department received an order from the newly appointed Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko to open new information channels for Ukrainian and foreign citizens. "Such channels will become one of the methods to improve communication between the governmental body and the society," press office says.
As a reminder, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is an active and regular participant of the Facebook activity.
