For better orienting of tourists in Kyiv during Euro-2012 the lines and stations of the Kyiv metro will be numbered.
Numbers will be given to every line of the metro: hence Svyatoshyn-Brovary line will have number 1, Kurenevsko-Krasnoarmeiska will have number 3 and Sirets-Pechersk line will have number 3, ForUm learned from the press office of the Kyiv city administration.
Every station will also get its personal number, three-digital one. The first digit will mean the number of the line and second two digits the very number of the station. For example, station "Heroiev Dnepra" of Kurenevsko-Krasnoarmeiska line will have the number 210, and station "Minska" - 220.
Signs with numbers have already been installed on some stations, and by the beginning of Euro-2012 every station will be transliterated and numbered.
