Commenting on the signing of the 2012 state budget the President's aid Iryna Akimova, says the head of state strongly criticizes the budget and in the near future will initiate amendments.
Among the reasons for criticism are the cut of costs for national projects, based generally on public-private initiative with the involvement of investors' funds and the lack of funding for regional programs.
"The president will raise the question of early review of the state budget, may be even at the beginning of the next year," the official emphasized.
Akimova added that the adopted document "is very difficult to call the budget of development", as funding for development and investment projects is insufficient. Accordng to the official, the president wants to see a document that "fully provides for implementation of economic reforms".
