By New Year's Eve the Chinese market has received the first batch of Ukrainian sparkling wine trademarked Artemovsk Winery. This is the beginning of a contract concluded by the winemakers from Donetsk region with a Chinese importer.
Last year, PJSC Artemovsk Winery entered the UK market, and this year - the Asian market. Under the contract, China will get from 50,000 to 100,000 bottles of sparkling wine produced by classical technology and aged 9 months to three years. Overall, the potential capacity of the plant, whose production sites are located in plaster galleries at a depth of 72 meters and take up to 25 hectares, stand at 25 million bottles a year.
The production of the Artemovsk plant is well known not only in Ukraine but also in 20 countries around the world where it is exported to. Among the largest consumers of the Ukrainian sparkling wine are Russia and Germany.
