The 50th metro station "Vystavochniy center" has been opened for passengers. The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov who arrived at the station as the first passenger, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I want to point out that the station has been constructed with considerable cost savings: the authorities allocated 920 million hryvnias, but the real cost was UAH 750 million," Azarov informed and added the Cabinet plans to keep high pace of metro construction in the capital.



According to the Premier, two other metro stations "Hippodrome" and "Teremki" will be opened on the Kurenevsko-Krasnoarmeiska line by the end of 2012. Azarov informed that the Cabinet had already given a corresponding order to the Kyiv metropolitan and construction companies.
