All taxi drivers taking part in the state pilot project "taxi of new generation", presented by Minister for infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov in Boryspil airport, will speak English and hence will be able to serve foreigners, who will arrive in Ukraine for Euro-2012, ForUm learned from the press office of the Ministry.
"Communication with foreigners in taxi services of the world has been minimized. In fact, a taxi driver must understand where to go and how to get payment. This minimum we can provide by 100%," Kolesnikov said.
A passenger will be able to make an order in Sky Taxi directly in the arrival terminal. A dispatcher will choose an optimal route and will send the order to a taxi waiting in line. Payment will be made on arrival to destination point according to the tariff, calculated by a taximeter. The driver will be obliged to give a bill, confirming the payment for the service.
After the delivery, a driver will come back to the base, Boryspil airport, and will stand in line till the next order.
