The chamber of Kyiv Court of Appeals has left unchanged the sentence of Yulia Tymoshenko, pronounced October 11 by Pechersk District Court of Kyiv on gas case. The corresponding decision was announced by presiding judge Olena Sytailo after 50-minute meeting in the decision room.
"The sentence by Pechersk District court to leave unchanged. The full text of the decision to announce December 29 at 4 pm," judge Sytailo pronounced.
Most probably the court decision was announced in absence of the state prosecution, as prosecutor Lilia Frolova told journalists the prosecution team would leave the judges to decision and would come back to the courtroom at 2 pm. However, the court announced its decision at 1:20 pm.
