The Minister reminded that the parliament had passed the draft bill in its first reading and underlined he personally submitted some amendments. "We insist on adoption of the law as a whole in order to regulate the right and powers of both law enforcement forces and participants of peace gatherings," he said.
Zakharchenko also pointed out that peace protest actions must be held with observance of the Constitution of Ukraine. "Protest actions should not be accompanied with fights and traffic blocking," he added.
The Minister also informed that his department is preparing an order on assistance to journalists during covering of peace protest actions.
