"We receive a lot of complains on bus drivers, who smoke in the cabin, swear and insult passengers. Many of such boors get fired. We have charged the heads of transportation enterprises to hold an investigation and create a common data base of offenders. Hence, hiring a new driver, transportation enterprises will be able to check whether this person is on the list of offenders. The committee or traffic police department will be able to give information on this or that offender at any time," the head of the committee Mykola Cherevkov said.
Chairman of the Association of transporters of Crimea Mykola Diskin believes it is a right decision. "When I used to work as the director of a bus fleet, I was dismissing every such offender. It is unacceptable. People come to you with money and you insult them!?" he says.
