The Governments of Ukraine and Tajikistan should develop and agree proposals on extending the Interstate Program of Long-term Economic Cooperation until 2020, President Viktor Yanukovych said after his today’s talks with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, presidential press office reports.
According to the President of Ukraine, the parties stressed the need for a successful and timely implementation of the Interstate Program of Long-term Economic Cooperation between Ukraine and Tajikistan for 2003-2012.
"In this regard, the governments of our countries were instructed to develop and agree proposals to extend this program until 2020," he said.
Viktor Yanukovych and Emomali Rahmon also positively assessed the results of the third meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. "We believe its effective continuous work significantly intensifies our relations," he said.
