The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes to hold extra examination of information about candidates for state positions of for local self-governments. The draft bill has been worked out by the Justice Ministry and approved at today's session of the Cabinet.
According to the Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych, the draft bill will be submitted for the President for consideration and approval.
According to the draft bill, extra examination will be held by written consent of a candidate, which must be submitted together with application documents for a state position. In case of competitive selection, extra examination will be held within three days after the announcement of contest results.
